Ohio Dept. of Health

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) works with 130 local health departments to “protect and improve the health of all Ohioans.” Services include but not limited to: helping provide pre-natal care, issuing birth certificates, providing immunizations, offering family planning information, performing nursing home inspections and issuing death certificates.

NetWellness

A non-profit consumer health web site that has been in operation for over ten years. It provides information created and evaluated by medical and health professional faculty at Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University and University of Cincinnati.

Wood County Health District

Provides services for Expectant or New Parents, Children, Adults, Elderly, The Community and Environment, Professionals and Teachers.

Toledo-Lucas County Health Department

Provides information on Health Education, Health Services, Community Response and Preparedness and Environment.

World Health Organization

WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.
