NOTICE OF CONTINUED FIRST HEARING
JACK STEARNS JOINT COUNTY DITCH #2473

The Joint Boards of Wood, Hancock and Seneca Counties wish to remind the affected landowners that all interested parties are welcome to attend the next Continued First Hearing for the Jack L. Stearns Joint County Ditch #2473. The hearing will be held THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.,
at the UAW FELLOWSHIP HALL, 625 PLAZA DRIVE, Fostoria, Ohio.
The previous hearing was held July 30, 2009.

Residents Are Reminded To Keep Sidewalks Clean of Snow & Ice
As the winter season is upon us, residents are reminded that sidewalks, curbs & gutters are to be kept free of snow and ice within a reasonable time after an accumulation. A letter with more details about the Ordinance can be found here.

A Senior Center on Call Available from WCCOA
The Wood County Committee on Aging is offering this new service to eligible homebound older adults to assist then in participating in social, recreational, educational, emotional and spiritual programs. A brochure with more details can be found here.

2010 Garbage Collection Rates
Buckeye Sanitation has set the 2010 garbage collection rates for the Village of Pemberville. Rates and collection information can be found on the Garbage Pickup page.

Wood County Dog License Sign-Up

The Wood County Dog Warden will be at the Village of Pemberville Town Hall on the following date for 2010 Dog License registrations:

The Village of Pemberville 2008 Drinking Water Confidence Report is now available. A copy of the 2008 report and previous reports can be found on the Water Department page.

Pemberville 5-Miler Results Now Available

The 2009 Pemberville 5-Miler was another huge success. The official results of the race are now available on the Parks page. Results from 2008 & 2007 are also available to compare times.

Village of Pemberville Curfew has been modified

Residents are reminded that the Village has a curfew for youth 17 years and younger per Ordinances 1065, 1358 and 1440 (passed 1-20-09). If you see a youth out after curfew, please call the Pemberville Police at 419-287-3250.

Public Notice Concerning CSX Railroad Crossings

The conditions of the railroad crossings on both Front Street and South Street have been brought to our attention. We are currently working with CSX to correct these problems. Please know that CSX can be difficult to work with and that it is a very slow process. We continue to monitor this situation and hope to have it resolved as time and funds are available.
