The Luckey Branch Library will be closed on Saturday, September 25 for the Luckey Fall Festival. Visit our booth in the Commercial Tent for a free book, and support the Luckey Area Library Movement by participating in the Kids Zone near our library booth! They will have games and activities for kids and a gift basket raffle. All proceeds will help benefit the Luckey Branch Library.
Join us in this virtual community event, presented by the NW Ohio Immigrant Rights Network. Pick up a copy of “When Stars Are Scattered” by Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed from any of our library locations. This book is a National Book Award Finalist, that tells the story of Omar and his brother Hassan. Follow the brothers as they wait and work in a UN refugee camp in Kenya, hoping for an opportunity to find a new home. Join the group on Zoom on Tuesday, June 15, to discuss their story and what it can teach us about the reality of life as an immigrant and refugee.
Join us for the final event of Summer Reading Program - a Pet Parade! We're encouraging dress-up for you and your pet! Pets must be leashed or contained. This event will be held at Memorial Park in Pemberville, directly behind the library. Ice cream treats will be provided for all human participants.
