Our 2025 Summer Reading Program theme is "Color Our World." Recording of reading will all be done in-person in the libraries this year, so stop in to check out books and sign up for in-person programs and take-home activities!
Children (ages preschool through 6th grade)
Registration begins Saturday, May 24 and recording reading for prizes begins Monday, June 9. Kids will be keeping track of their reading this year to earn brag tags and beads! Every child receives a chain and Library tag when they record their first book. We will have weekly in person programs, as well as activity centers at the library.
Books are assigned the following points:
- 1 point each: Picture books and ICanRead books
- 4 points each: Juvenile Fiction (chapter books), Graphic Novels, and Nonfiction.
This year children have a chance to earn bragtags by recording their reading every week. Every week participants stop in to record their reading they will receive 1 bragtag. Every 10 points achieved earns a specialty bead.
