In partnership with the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library, the seven independent public library systems in Wood County, known collectively as Woodlink, are proud to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination library to families in Wood County.
This Early Literacy Initiative is a free, monthly, home-book delivery program for children ages zero to five years old. Each child registered will receive one age-appropriate book mailed to them each month. If you have a child, or children, ages zero to five, and live in Wood County, you are eligible for the program! To register your child/children, simply visit either the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library's page: https://imaginationlibrary.com/ or the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library page https://ohioimaginationlibrary.org/enroll
Program costs are covered by a 50% match from the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library program and 50% in locally provided funds. Each library of the county's seven libraries contributed to the project based on the population in their legal service district. The seven libraries that worked together to provide local funds are the North Baltimore Public Library, Pemberville Public Library, Rossford Public Library, Way Public Library in Perrysburg, Wayne Public Library, Weston Public Library, and the Wood County District Public Library.
