The history of the Black Swamp and Wood County are not the stories of the mud, but the stories of the people who settled here. Each person, great or small, had a story to tell, this is the true history of the Great Black Swamp.
Pick up a boarding pass and join us on Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 pm for a Titanic Tea. Participants will enjoy some snacks, tea, and history about this historic ocean liner.

Calling all families to embark on this high-tech treasure hunt at Sawyer Quarry Nature Preserve in Perrysburg! Participants will gain a functioning knowledge of how a Global Positioning System (GPS) works, and use GPS units to discover the locations of hidden geocaches, along with geocaching ethics and protocols.

Next Chapter Book Club is a community-based book club for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All reading skills are encouraged to attend. The primary focus is having fun with friends! Open to ages 16 and up.

Relatively Speaking is a genealogy discussion group led by Assistant Director Laura King. The group shares their experiences in exploring family histories and help one another overcome their research roadblocks. This group typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at Pemberville Public Library. New members are always welcome!
