The first record of a bank in Stony Ridge was in 1910.

Hardware, paint, farm implements, and grain elevator. The building burned in the mid- to late- 1880's.

Frank Riffer built it in 1901 in the triangle on Krotzer Avenue.

The school began as one building, then another was built, and finally the bell tower building joined the two buildings in the middle.The school was sold in 1926 and divided to make three houses.
